Privacy Policy

This policy explains what CuddleCozy collects, why, where it is kept and the choices you have. In short: your baby’s log is yours. We do not sell it, we do not show ads and we do not track you.
Who we are
CuddleCozy is published by CuddleCozy (“we”, “us”). Contact: support@cuddlecozy.ca. We are responsible for the personal information described here.
Using the app without an account
You can use CuddleCozy without an account. Then everything you enter stays on your phone only. We receive none of it.
What we collect with an account
If you create an account, we keep:
- Account details: your email address, your first name if you give it, and the sign-in method (email, Apple or Google). With Sign in with Apple you may hide your email; we then get an address relayed by Apple.
- Your child’s profile: name or nickname, birth date, sex (for growth charts) and a photo if you add one.
- Your log: the entries you make (sleep, feeds, diapers, pumping, solids, medicines, temperatures, growth, activities, milestones and notes) with their times.
- Your app settings (units, appearance, home cards, reminders).
Health information
Your baby’s log is health information. We use it only to show it to you and to keep it in step on the phones signed in to your account. We never use it for advertising or marketing, never sell or rent it, and never share it with data brokers.
What we do not collect
No advertising identifiers, no tracking across other apps or websites, no analytics on how you use the app, no location, no contacts.
Where it is kept
Your log is stored on your phone and, with an account, in Google Cloud Firestore (Firebase) in Montréal, Canada. Sign-in is handled by Google Firebase Authentication, which may process your email address in the United States. Google acts as our service provider under its data processing terms and may not use your data for its own purposes.
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest by Google.
Who can see it
Only people signed in to your account. If you share your sign-in with another caregiver, they see and can change the same log. Our service providers process data only to run the service. We disclose information only if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
As long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your log, your child’s profile and your account details are deleted from our systems within 30 days (backups included).
Your choices and rights
In the app you can see, change and export your data (Settings → Export as CSV), delete your account and all its data (Settings → Account → Delete account), and, without an account, erase everything kept on the phone (Settings → Erase everything on this phone). Depending on where you live (for example California, Washington, Canada, Australia or New Zealand) you may also have rights to access, correct or delete your information, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a privacy regulator. Write to support@cuddlecozy.ca; we answer within 30 days.
Our website
Our website, cuddlecozy.ca, uses no cookies, no analytics and no trackers. Cloudflare, which hosts it, processes visitors’ IP addresses only to deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks.
Children
CuddleCozy is for parents and caregivers. It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from children. Information about a child is entered by a parent or caregiver.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will show the new date here and tell you in the app before an important change applies.
